For the Ceremony and Reception, please wear semi-formal attire. Spring colors are encouraged but not required. For the Dessert Party, feel free to change into more casual attire! Please note that Florida weather in May will be warm, with an average temperature of 77° and highs of 85°. The wedding and reception, which occur during the hot part of the day, will be indoor and air conditioned. The dessert party will be outside, but at night. If it rains, the dessert party will be relocated to an indoor venue. If you plan to spend time outside on days before or after the wedding, please bring warm-weather clothes!
If you are staying at a Disney resort, private transportation for the ceremony & reception will pick you up at your Disney resort on the morning of the ceremony. If you are staying at a Disney resort other than Disney's Grand Floridian or Disney's Pop Century, please contact Erin so we can ensure the transportation knows to stop at your hotel. There is no transportation provided to or from the evening desert party. Guests should take Disney transportation to Epcot, such as the Disney Skyliner for those staying at Pop Century, or the resort buses for those not staying on the Skyliner route. If not staying at a Disney resort, park at Epcot. See the below question for more details on the desert party meeting point. If you are not staying at a Disney resort, you will need to secure your own transportation via a rental car or ride share app. Parking at the reception and ceremony is provided, but parking at Epcot for the evening dessert party is $35. To drive a private vehicle to the ceremony, enter “Disney’s Wedding Pavilion” in your GPS. There is a private entrance prior to the main entrance for Disney’s Grand Floridian.
There are TWO locations outside of Epcot to meet for the desert party: 1. For everyone arriving by car, ride share, or Disney resort buses: Please meet by the flagpole at the front of the park. This is inside the security screening, but before the main entrance to the park. 2. For everyone arriving via Skyliner: In front of the park entrance, past security. In both locations, a Disney guide will meet the group to escort you into the park and to the party venue.
There are a few options: - Rental car at MCO - Ride share (Lyft / Uber) from MCO - Bus from MCO via Mears transportation (lowest cost option). See details and book at mearsconnect.com
Yes! We encourage guests to leave time before or after the wedding date to visit the Disney parks. You can find discounted tickets at: https://disneyurl.com/Weddings Please remember that afternoon rain showers are common in Florida. We recommend bringing ponchos or umbrellas in addition to shoes that are good for walking and standing!
The ceremony and reception are indoors. The desert party is outside, but Florida’s typical afternoon storms usually clear by the 7pm start time. If it is raining at the time of the desert party, Disney will relocate to a backup location indoors.
