Is there a hotel block? Other additional notes on where to stay.
Answer
We want to give our guests the flexibility of where to stay since the Napa Valley area is filled with many great options. However, for a list of suggested hotels, see the Travel and Accommodations page. For those wanting to stay close to Brasswood, our wedding venue, we recommend staying in St Helena, or Calistoga. Both of these cities are about a 10-min drive to/from Brasswood. The city of Yountville is also a great choice. It is a 20-min drive to Brasswood and has many hotels to choose from. For those who want more extensive hotel options and don't mind a 30-min drive to Brasswood, we suggest looking in downtown Napa Valley. Downtown Napa has a lively atmosphere for during both day and night and has many hotels at a variety of price points to choose from. We do recommend booking a hotel early, since October in the valley is a busy month for tourism.

Should I rent a car if coming from out of town?
Answer
For out of town guests we recommend renting a car, however Uber and Lyft are available. If you're using Uber, we recommend scheduling/pre-booking your ride through the Uber app to and from Brasswood. It will give you peace of mind, much shorter wait times, and a guaranteed ride.

Getting to and from Brasswood on wedding day.
Answer
Brasswood has a very large parking lot for those who are driving to and from the wedding. There will be plenty of parking for everyone. For those who plan to take a ride share such as Uber or Lyft, we recommend pre-booking the rides since there can be limited drivers especially in the evening hours. For those staying in hotels, the concierge can also help with hiring and booking local taxis.

Can I bring my children?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults only with the exception for immediate family. We hope you enjoy the night off!

Dress Attire
Answer
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses! The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn, so a light jacket or sweater is recommended. For ladies wearing heeled shoes, please know you will be walking on the lawn for a brief moment to get seated for the ceremony, so take this into consideration when choosing a heel style. The reception dinner will be held indoors and after dinner we will be going outside again for live music under the stars by fireside . We recommend bringing a heavier jacket for the evening hours after dinner as it can get cooler in the evenings during the month of October.
