Travel Note
You are welcome to stay anywhere of your choosing, of course. But staying in Scotia, Redcrest or Miranda will make your trip easier. We are suggesting the Scotia Lodge for hotel stay. There are also many great camping options nearby. You can also check out Airbnb options, but please be aware that these are small, rural towns without a TON of options, so you might want to secure your lodging sooner rather than later. Our venue, the River Orchard, is between Scotia and Miranda, on a farm by a river. If you are coming from North of Humboldt, traveling via the 101 the whole way takes about 1.5 hours longer, but it's sooooo worth it. There are several breathtaking view points, trails, and ocean spots. If you can break up the drive over a few days for a sweet little road trip, we think you'll have a great time. Spots we love to stop at: Whaleshead Beach and Cape Sebastian (but your options are many).
