When you exit customs, you'll be greeted by a ton of people trying to sell you excursions, transportation and taxis (ignore them). We'd recommend having transportation pre arranged before arriving - - Use any services your hotel has to offer to get you to your destination - Pre arrange a pick up from a car service, some options are here - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g150793-Activities-c59-t182-Puerto_Vallarta.html Although Uber is available, it's illegal at the airport (but people still use it) - you must be discreet and don't call attention to the fact that you're using this service. We don't recommend using this if you don't speak Spanish or aren't comfortable navigating this type of airport.
