Question

How far is the venue from Seattle

Answer

To get to Kitsap Memorial State Park from Seattle, you will take the Bainbridge-Seattle Ferry (35 minute crossing) to Bainbridge Island and then drive about 30 minutes to the Park in Poulsbo. Cars can drive onto the ferry for $16 each way. Passengers can walk on for $8 round trip. Let Aaron or Erin know if you need to find a carpool.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We want all of our guests to have a relaxing visit and customize the trip to their own preferences. Treat it as your vacation! Some people may choose to embrace the outdoor theme of the wedding and camp at the state park or nearby. Many people will choose to stay in Seattle and explore the beautiful city. Yet another option is to stay on the Kitsap peninsula. There are a lot of cute cabins, inns, and vacation homes in scenic areas. In order to understand the geography, think of it as two areas: Seattle and the Kitsap peninsula. They are separated by a ferry ride. Please contact Aaron or Erin if you have questions or need help planning. We are happy to make recommendations.

Question

What time of day is the wedding?

Answer

The actual ceremony begins at 4:00pm. We would love for people to arrive between 2:30-3:00 to enjoy drinks, yard games and a photo booth. The festivities will last until dusk.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are encouraging anything from casual attire to a little dressy. Whatever you feel most comfortable in. You probably don’t want to wear a suit ( you’ll be super hot) or wear crazy heels (you’ll trip in the woods). 😉

For all the days along the way
