FAQs

Question

What is the recommended attire?

Answer

The dress code for this event is cocktail attire. For men, we recommend dress pants or khakis with a sport coat. For women, this could look like a midi or maxi length dress or dress pants and a nice top. Spring colors & fun patterns are encouraged!

Question

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Bridesmaids will be in moss green dresses, while the groomsmen will wear tuxedos.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning on holding the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, with an indoor reception. March weather can be unpredictable, so please check the temperature and dress accordingly. We do have a contingency plan in case of rain.

Question

Can I take photos of your wedding?

Answer

Please keep phones put away during the ceremony, as we want you to enjoy the moment with us! We have hired a wonderful photographer to capture the moment and will be happy to share those photos with you. Feel free to take all the photos you want during cocktail hour and the reception!

Question

Are my children allowed at this event?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this event is for ages 10+ only.

Question

Can I bring a date to this event?

Answer

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate guests whose names are listed on the RSVP form.

Question

What time should I arrive at the event?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:30PM. Please arrive at the venue at least 15-30 minutes early to allow time to walk to the ceremony site and find your seat.

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, all parts of our celebration will be handicap accessible! Our venue also has a golf cart to transport guests to and from the ceremony site.

Question

Is there a recommended hotel for wedding guests?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Homewood Suites Hotel in Davidson for guests. We understand that many of our guests are traveling in from out of town, so please check out the "Travel" and "Things to Do" pages for all of our recommendations!

Question

How should I get there?

Answer

There is plenty of parking on-site at the venue if you choose to drive. Cars can remain at the venue overnight, but must be removed by 11am on Sunday. We will have an open bar, so please be responsible and consider alternate transportation if you plan to party hard!
