Our modern love story began the way so many do nowadays — on Tinder. After swiping left on what felt like half the state, we widened our range… and finally found each other. From the very first conversation, there was an undeniable connection. Soon it was all-day texting, hours-long FaceTime calls, and then, finally, meeting in person. That first meeting sealed everything. We both knew we’d found something that was meant to last. For the next three years, we made long distance our normal. We helped each other move between houses and apartments, balanced full-time jobs, pursued degrees, and still never missed a chance to travel every two weeks just to spend time together. People say long distance is hard — and it is — but for us, every mile was worth it. All of that love, effort, and commitment brought us to our biggest milestone yet: buying our first home and finally beginning our life under the same roof.
