Erik and Sylvia met for dinner at Pet Shop in Jersey City. The food was 'meh', but the conversation was great - so they decided to walk down the street to Barcade to continue talking. They had a couple drinks and played some classic arcade games together. It was so much fun, and they didn't want the date to end so they drove to Hutton; a neighborhood bar that is now their favorite spot. They held hands as they walked to the car... and they've been inseparable ever since.

The couple got engaged while on a trip together in California. It was just the two of them taking a walk around a lake. As they crossed over a bridge Erik stopped in the middle, said some sweet stuff, got down on one knee, and proposed. With tears in her eyes, Sylvia said yes!
