Where is San Miguel de Allende/ Is it Safe?

Answer

San Miguel (the heart of Mexico) is in central Mexico surrounded by the Bajío Mountains, at an altitude of 6,234 feet. The town itself is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has a very rich, colonial history. Due to its high regard as a tourist destination, it is very safe.

When Should we Arrive to San Miguel de Allende?

Our wedding weekend begins Thursday 11-10 in the afternoon so plan to arrive either Wednesday 11-9 in evening or Thursday 11-10 in the morning.

SHOULD I BRING HEELS?

Answer

San Miguel de Allende is beautiful, however its' cobblestone streets may be dangerous in heels. I would recommend wearing fancy heels for the wedding, and bringing flats/sandals or comfortable walking shoes to later change.

Most hotels offer scheduling of COVID-19 tests, however we have included a lab that does testing in centro San Miguel Bios Lab Laboratorio de Análisis Clínicos Hidalgo 55, Zona Centro, 37700 San Miguel de Allende, Gto., Mexico
