Yup. The Torpedo Factory Art Center, originally the U.S. Naval Torpedo Station during WWI, was transformed into a public art gallery in 1974 – and still showcases local artists today! We chose it for the waterfront location, the unique industrial-meets-artsy vibe, and the historic charm of Old Town Alexandria.
