Question

What if I can't make it for the whole weekend?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate with you at any events you can make it to, and you'll be able to let us know your plans when you RSVP. Unfortunately, we are only able to coordinate transportation from the airport on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Question

How much does it cost to stay at Camp?

Answer

Nothing! We recognize how much it costs to travel and participate in a wedding. We are so honored that you can join us for this event, and lodging at Camp Miller, onsite meals/drinks, and the airport shuttle are on us!

Question

How do I get to Camp?

Answer

For those arriving into Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, we will provide transportation via coach bus on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning (specific arrival and departure times are on the Travel/Lodging page). Please let us know if you'd like a spot when you RSVP. If you choose to drive, there is ample parking available.

Question

What are the cabins like?

Answer

They're actually really nice! The cabins vary in size and layout, but they are all fully finished, lighted, equipped with outlets, and insulated--some also have full attached bathrooms! All cabins are heated, and we'll have sheets and bedding as well. Most sleeping areas are communal, however, there are a limited number of private rooms. We will assign cabins so that you can stay with people that you know. Additionally, most cabins are equipped with mini fridges and coffee makers, which we will be stocking with snacks to keep you fueled throughout the weekend! There are photos of the cabins on this site that you can peruse before you RSVP. While we can't guarantee arrangements, you will be able to note your cabin preferences when you RSVP. We *can* guarantee that we'll do everything we can to make your cabin stay cozy, fun, and comfortable!

Question

What about bathrooms and showers?

Answer

These are nice too! For cabins without a bathroom, there is a large newly-renovated bathroom complex nearby that includes several stalls and many sinks and showers. We will provide towels. While Camp Miller genders the bathrooms, we invite guests to use whichever bathroom makes them most comfortable. We will also be re-designating some shared bathrooms around Camp as gender neutral.

Question

Will I be able to walk to a town or local businesses? What if I get hungry outside of the meal times?

Answer

While we're pretty close to the town of Sturgeon Lake, which has a small convenience store and a few restaurants, you should have all your needs met at Camp! We'll stock the cabins and common areas with lots of snacks and beverages, and during the day on Saturday we'll have substantial grazing options and coffee/tea available pre and post brunch in a common space. If you'd like some alone time, the eight miles of trails at Camp are a great place to take a stroll!

Question

What are your COVID protocols?

Answer

There will be plenty of opportunities for outdoor activity. For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, we will trust and require all guests to be vaccinated. Barring a large change in the current COVID-19 situation, masks will be optional for the weekend. Because of the communal nature of this event, if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we kindly request that you stay home.
