So you want to know anything in the world about Copper Harbor, the juiciest gossip, the happenings? Head to the General Store, they have anything you might be wanting to know and also all your firewood, snack, dairy, beer, wine and liquor needs. They will probably also know exactly where Erik and myself are all weekend! HA HA
A great fine dining establishment right on the shores of Copper Harbor. No need to dress up though, just be ready to stuff your bellies with a delicious meal! If you go in there on a day that the Isle Royale Queen is sailing, around 6:15 pm all the server staff will head out to do the can-can to green the Queen back into the harbor. A sight to see!
The one with the big blue roof! The Mariner is great for people with many dietary needs and desires! They have quite a large menu, containing salads, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza! Great place to go for lunch and dinner! They also have cabins and hotel rooms available!
This hike is a bit out of the way! But well worth it. Taking about 40 minutes to drive to the trail head, it then brings you along the shores of Lake Superior on a 1 1/2 mile hike to the falls (2 falls are easily accessible). Prepare to make this a half day adventure! It will take you at least 4 hours (if you rush) and longer if you want to enjoy it!
