Erik's viewpoint - 6 years ago the best thing to ever happen in America happened, Hillary lost. But also, Erik and Brit met. Brit was an oddball. Erik, stupidly, didn't talk to her for two years, much to the disappointment of everyone who knew us. Then, it happened. I talked to Brit. And what do you know, she was still weird, I was right. But slowly over the summer of 2018 she wore me down. Brit's viewpoint - I had been stalking my prey starting in the fifth grade. He was a year older, something told me then that I should keep an eye on this one. Our paths would never officially cross until years to come but that didn't stop me from noticing him throughout the years. Our lives seemed to parallel each other, growing up in the same neighborhood, same elementary, middle, and high school. Still our tips never touched, until one fateful day. I had been playing with an adult ultimate frisbee group and the summer of 2016 he was randomly there. I pounced at the chance and opened with "I know your mom." My opener worked, slowly that is. Over the next couple years and many thats what she said jokes, I wore him down. Now here we are, 3 1/2 years later with 2 dogs, a house, and a ton of bills. One weird event after another we are finally getting married. And that fateful day will be October 22, 2022. Our unconventional ways have made us decide that our wedding will be a non traditional event. Costumes WILL BE WORN BY GUESTS, that is a threat, on our wedding day. Because we didn't want to spend copious amounts of money due to our "tons of bills", we will have the greatest event since the moon landing at our house. Ceremony and reception shall take place in the backyard so be prepared. It's October in Alaska, it'll be cold. Layer accordingly. The time for such an event will begin around 4 and end promptly at 9, seriously please leave by 9. Erik wants some god damn peace and quiet with his new wife.
