While our official wedding ceremony start time 2pm, you may want to arrive 15- 30 minutes before the ceremony starts. That way you can get settled before the proceedings.
Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual Part of dressing for a semiformal or dressy casual wedding is taking the time of the wedding into account. Opt in for light colors and fabrics for this daytime event. Try a below-the-knee dress or a dressy skirt and top. An elegant pantsuit is also appropriate. Floor-length gowns, however, would be inappropriate. Pair with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats. The ceremony is being held outdoors and you'll be walking across a lawn, avoid traditional heels that will likely get stuck in the grass. Men should wear a dress shirt and slacks, dark or light, with the option to wear a tie. Semiformal gives you flexibility on comfort, but be sure not to dress too casual,
Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be outdoors. Florida sits on a peninsula that divides the North Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Gulf of Mexico in the west. The state has a tropical climate in the south, while conditions are more subtropical in the north. This brings Florida its year-round warmth, although the surrounding oceans will help keep you cool. April’s one of the sunniest months of the year.
Due to restrictions with the farm, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.
We will have an open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. During cocktail hour as well as dinner we should have vegetarian and vegan options. If have dietary restrictions/allergies, please just let us know via RSVP card or on our website when you RSVP online.
We would like our guest to be present and enjoy the time during our wedding ceremony. We ask that you be respectful of our wishes. We also encourage our guest to take a bunch of pictures during cocktail hour and reception and send them to us the night of the wedding, that way we can see all the memories you shared with us. Please use discretion, when it comes to posting on social media or until we receive our sneak peaks back from the photographers.
Whatever is easiest for you! We have 2 options via USPS in the return envelope we provide, or our wedding website! RSVP date March 1st, 2022
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. We are registered on Amazon and Zola.
Yes, we are hoping to do a tour of the farm that Erikah and Savannah work at on Friday, before the rehearsal dinner. Saturday is the day!!! We get to celebrate our love with our friends and family. Sunday, we are going to meet for brunch before everyone has to leave. We are currently trying to find a spot to accommodate our guest that would like to attend.
Funny you should ask! We do have a hashtag. For our wedding the hashtag is #Napkins4222. With Shawn's last name being Nap, and Erikah's maiden name is Hopkins, you get #Napkins4222. Thanks Amber :)
The reception will end promptly at 10pm. We would love to continue the festivities, but we will probably be so tired that we just want to go to bed. An after party will be determined after the wedding.
If you have any other questions, you can call text or email the Bride, or any of her wedding party. You can also send me a message via our wedding website.
This is an outdoor wedding. We do have a washroom as well as sanitation stations available. We are not asking for information about being vaccinated, and ask everyone to be respectful to other people and their choices.
