From our very first conversation to the day Steve proposed when I was convinced I gave him the stomach flu and (unknowingly) forced him to cancel his dinner proposal reservations, things have never really gone "according to plan" for us, but somehow in the end it always works out just how it was always supposed to. Our wedding is no different, although a global pandemic forcing us to cancel our destination wedding was not something either Steve or myself could have ever predicted. As we have done so many times before, we continue to roll with whatever the world decides to throw at us and keep living and growing our lives together. While our wedding day will indeed look very different from what we initially hoped, we do know that we cannot wait to celebrate our love and marriage with our friends and loved ones once we can all safely be together again, whether that be in a few months or even a year or two. It may not be perfect or what anyone pictured, but that has been our story from the beginning and at the end of the day, building our lives together with our friends and family at our sides (even virtually) is all that matters.
