Finally!

Skyler and Erika met in the 7th grade in Ms. Bigham's homeroom period. Erika was twelve and Skyler was eleven (in this day, Skyler often calls Erika his "Cougar"). Shortly after, Skyler gave Erika her very first kiss while they were walking home from school. Not long after, but what seems like ages in pre-teen time, Skyler and Erika parted ways. They finished middle school and continued to go to high school together but did not remain close. A few years after graduating high school, Erika moved out of the Portland-metro area to Bend, OR. Skyler worked on the road as a Sales Rep. and traveled to Bend quite frequently. Although Skyler made several attempts to meet up with Erika, she somehow always had an excuse to say no. Almost a decade later, Erika decided to move back home to be closer to family and friends. Thanks to social media, Skyler always knew what Erika was up to. It was finally Skyler's opportunity to swoon Erika after all that time had passed. At last, Erika drove over to Sklyer's house in Vancouver, WA. After the first time seeing him since their 10-year class reunion, she wasn't too sure how to feel about Skyler at the time. With that, she leisurely took her time in between making plans with Skyler. It even got to the point where Skyler's parents weren't quite sure if Erika even existed. Six months had passed and Erika had come to her senses. HE WAS THE ONE! She didn't quite know why but had always been told that "when you know, you know" and this couldn't be truer for the way that she felt about Skyler; it was something she had never knew before. From then on, both Skyler and Erika decided to trust their intuitions and instincts and made the decision to start a family. Although very untraditional, they found out that they were pregnant after only months of being together, bought their very first home, got engaged, and lastly, Erika gave birth to their son Skyler Jr. on October 20th 2021. On September 10th, 2020, Skyler and Erika started their romantic relationship (again) and on September 10th, 2021 Skyler and Erika became engaged. Therefore, September 10th, 2023 will mark the third and most important event held on the day thus far; their marriage. Ultimately, it is now time to celebrate Skyler and Erika and all of the love that they share for one another. They are each other's best friends, biggest admirers, and loudest cheerleaders. Many prayers for the happiest of marriages, continuous accomplishments, and healthful longevity for the both of them and their family. Cheers!
