In September 2015 Erika packed up her belongings and decided to move to New York City. As she didn't know the city too well, she decided to rent a temporary room in an apartment to give her time to adapt before finding a more permanent living situation. As she pulled up in a rental car packed to the top with boxes, she called the man who was also living in the apartment to help her carry some things into the building. That person was Pat. The two of them instantly connected, and have been inseparable every since.

Pat proposed to Erika during an unforgettable trip to Thailand. He decided to "pop the question" during their stay in the absolutely breathtaking small town of Pai after a day of exploring mountains, hot springs, and watching the sunset on the canyon.

Currently Pat and Erika live in Ridgewood, Queens with their puppy Eleanor. Erika a payroll manager at Bloomberg in Manhattan, and Pat is one of the top Real Estate agents at a company in Brooklyn. When they have free-time they typically spend it together. They enjoy relaxing at home with their puppy, traveling, and great food.
