We would highly recommend everyone consider transportation well in advance of the wedding. As amazing as the Catskills and Woodstock are, one of the challenges is very limited Uber and spotty cell phone service in the mountains. We would highly recommend lodging at one of the hotels listed in the travel section. We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue from the hotels and the center of Woodstock. AirBnBs are a great option around Woodstock. If you would like to do an AirBnB we would recommend renting a car or contacting us for recommendations. Either way, please reach out to us if you have any concerns or questions about lodging and we will help point you in the right direction.
Yes! We recommend reserving lodging at the hotels in our travel section. We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue from those hotels. AirBnBs are also a good option in Woodstock to fully enjoy the Woodstock experience, but please consider transportation in advance. Also, for convenience, our welcome and after-party events will be located in the town of Woodstock. Woodstock is a big attraction for New Yorkers to visit in the summertime so we urge all guests to book early!
Uber is very limited in Woodstock. Wait times can be anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Also, the limited cellular reception in the Catskills can serve as a limiting factor in reserving day-of transportation. Should guests decide to stay in different towns, it would be important to hire a scheduled car service to return back at the end of the night.
The ceremony starts at 4:00 P.M. sharp. We suggest guests arrive by 3:45 P.M. to find a seat and parking.
The dress code is cocktail attire with the option of tie or no tie.
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, this will be an adult-only day.
Yes! There are 40 parking spots located at Onteora Mountain House. We recommend guests carpool or utilize alternative transportation modes in case spots fill up.
