Marty is a Guilderland native who keeps his cool (and his biceps) at Planet Fitness four days a week. When he’s not at the gym, you can usually find him glued to WWE, gaming on his PlayStation, or hanging out with his best friends at Buffalo Wild Wings on a Friday night. He’s also a devoted dog dad to Tank — some might say obsessed — and a dedicated budget analyst for New York State. Marty has used his number-crunching superpowers to keep the wedding budget perfectly balanced (despite Erika's best efforts). Fueled by Ghost energy drinks and love, Marty’s the heart, humor, and muscle of this duo.
Erika Dever
Bride
Erika is from Schoharie, New York, and her favorite part of every week is taking Saturday morning walks with Marty and Tank through local parks. Her second favorite part? Cheering on her beloved Tampa Bay Buccaneers — usually with a gin & tonic in hand. Erika is a self-proclaimed true crime enthusiast, podcast favorite (yes, she’s had shoutouts!), and lover of all things paranormal. Whether she’s diving into the latest UFO theories or planning her next adventure, Erika brings curiosity, laughter, and warmth wherever she goes. Together with Marty, she’s building a life filled with humor, love, and a healthy dose of weird.
Deb & Dan Primett
Mother & Father of the Groom
Dan and Deb met while working for the USPS and still live in the same cozy Guilderland home where Marty grew up. Dan is best known for his endless supply of jokes, while Deb is usually crafting something beautiful (or trying to remain calm while her husband shares every thought he has with her). Together, they share their home with their adorable Australian shepherd, Dodger, and love traveling the country on baseball trips. Dan and Deb graciously opened their doors to Marty and Erika while they saved for their first home — spoiling them with their favorite meals and only occasionally questioning how much laundry Erika could possibly have.
Beth & Don Dever
Mother & Father of the Bride
Don and Beth live in sunny Celina, Texas, just north of Dallas, with their cute little gremlin of a dog, Chaz. They love spending time with their grandchildren, who always keep them entertained and on their toes. Beth is an avid reader, and Don is an enthusiastic Bitcoin aficionado. Together, they travel the country on Amazon’s dime, delivering trucks and RVs and turning every trip into an adventure.
Steve Bellegarde
Best Man
Marty’s best friend for over 15 years, Steve lives in Loudonville with his wife, Cait (who just so happens to be the officiant), and their dog, Henry. Every year, he hosts the groom and groomsmen at his family’s camp in the Thousand Islands — a tradition full of laughs, inside jokes, and questionable decision-making. Marty drives Steve absolutely crazy with his endless talk about Power Rangers, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, but their bromance somehow thrives anyway. Together, they’ve taken video game fandom to the next level — even traveling to San Francisco to attend a live podcast show — and they’re known for such entertaining road trips that they usually miss at least one exit along the way.
Jess Dever
Maid of Honor
Jess is Erika’s older sister and has literally been there since day one — though Erika may have had to grow on her a bit first. Jess lives in Nashville, Tennessee, but is soon trading country roads for pura vida in Costa Rica. She’s a talented software developer and proud dog mom to Clementine and Briley. Whenever Jess and Erika are together, you can count on two things: laughing until they can’t breathe, or binge-watching paranormal TV shows and convincing themselves the house is haunted.
Matt Jones
Groomsman
Matt has been friends with Marty for over a decade, and the two were roommates for two years — a time that gave birth to the legendary Friday night “guys night,” a tradition still going strong today. Matt and Marty bond over their shared love of WWE and their ongoing mission to score free buffalo chicken pizza (though Marty is still the only one to ever pull it off). Matt now lives just down the road from Marty’s parents with fellow groomsman Ryan. When he’s not working or playing in his local kickball league, he and Marty take great joy in terrorizing Steve by sending him the most bizarre Instagram reels they can find. A proud Patriots fan with a quiet personality and dry sense of humor, Matt is the kind of friend who always shows up — usually with perfect comedic timing.
Kristi Waterhouse
Bridesmaid
Kristi and Erika found love in a hopeless place — also known as P.F. Chang’s in Albany, NY. Since then, they’ve shared countless laughs, memories, and probably a few too many glasses of wine. Kristi now lives in Fort Myers, Florida with her husband, David, and their German Shepherd, Millie. She does the Lord’s work as a trauma intensive care nurse and is also in nurse practitioner school. When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll find her tackling the most complicated Lego sets imaginable or enjoying the magic of Disney as a proud pass-holder.
Ryan Hourihan
Groomsman
Ryan is Marty’s longest-running friend — the two have known each other since kindergarten, when Ryan moved down the street. He now works at the NanoTech building in Albany (doing something no one quite understands), and he’s the goofball of the group. An avid golfer and proud driver of a white Bronco, Ryan’s known to take corners fast enough to make passengers question their life choices. He’s happiest with a Pepsi in hand and a safe distance from the dance floor.
Vickie Searles
Bridesmaid
Vickie is Marty’s little sister and Erika’s partner in both true crime and pilates. She lives in Albany with her husband, Tyler, and together they volunteer at the Slingerland's Fire Department — talk about a power couple! Vickie is a pharmacist at Price Chopper and the proud mom of three beautiful girls: Kiko, Chaos, and Kova. Fun, sassy, and quick-witted, Vickie keeps everyone on their toes and always brings the perfect mix of humor and heart.
Ann Marie Coons

Ann Marie is Marty’s oldest sister and Erika’s “work wife.” The two have been working side by side at Schenectady County DSS since September 2024, and it didn’t take long for them to become inseparable. Ann Marie lives in Schenectady with her husband, Jim, and their furry kids, Beazley and Brooklyn. When she’s not keeping the office running smoothly, she’s probably dominating a pool or bowling league. Generous, caring, and always up for a round of Uno: No Mercy, Ann Marie is the definition of loyal and fun.
Cait Bellegarde
Officiant
Cait is one-third of the legendary “Scorpio Triplets,” and she’s married to the Best Man, Steve. She’s a woodworking genius, a plant enthusiast, and the creative force behind the beautiful engagement photos featured on this website. When Erika makes her a cocktail, Cait’s alter ego — Stacy — tends to make an appearance (and she’s a blast). Warm, hilarious, and incredibly handy, Cait’s the perfect person to help make Marty and Erika’s marriage official.
