The wedding venue is at Erika's parents house, it is a farm house in the country side but should be fairly easy to find through GPS and we will have signs posted around to help everyone get there! the wedding and reception will be mostly outside but we do have a large tent for dinner and if the weather calls for it.
Yes, there will be a decent amount of parking but carpooling is recommended if possible
Unfortunately there is a limited transportation options with the wedding/reception being in the rural Midwest, if you are traveling from somewhere else having a car to get around is recommended.
Driving here is easy but a few tips for our friends visiting the Midwest for the first time! I know it will be tempting to speed with the wide open road but cops here do have the time of day to pull you over so be careful you may also run into a lot of speed traps. Watch out for deer and stop at intersections especially if there is tall corn as you cant see people coming and lots of people speed through the countryside.
No specific dress code but we would like everyone to look nice! Wedding is wildflower theme so garden party attire, (sundresses, light colors, hats, and flowers), is recommended but not required! Wedding/Reception are in grassy areas so may want to wear flats or wider heels.
