THE VENUE - The wedding and festivities will take place at Camp Miller, a 120 year old YMCA camp located on the shore of Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota. The campground encompasses 342 acres of tall pines, hiking trails and crystal clear waters.
LODGING - Thankfully the buildings aren’t 120 years old! LODGING WILL BE PROVIDED for whoever wants it. The accommodations vary slightly, from lodges with bedrooms, refrigerators and indoor bathrooms to rustic cabins within walking distance of a bathhouse. It’s not the Ritz but the surroundings are magical. Those looking to crash at camp will have to bring their own bedding or make an arrangement to borrow from a local.
Camp Miller is located right off the I-35, approximately 2 hours north of the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP), and this will probably be the best option for those flying in for the weekend. The venue is about 45 minutes away from the beautiful Lake Superior city of Duluth. If you’ve never seen Lake Superior it’s worth the trip!
