We're Getting Married!

Our story together starts almost twelve years ago! We first met during our freshman year of high school when we were both just babies. As our four years of high school passed, I always had a crush on Erika, but I thought that I would never have a chance with her because she was the prettiest, smartest, and most thoughtful person I had ever met! She was such a kind and gentle soul. Not long after highs school, I finally had the nerve to ask her on a date! After a few dates, being the smart and determined person that she is, she told me that she was going to focus on school and wanted to finish college before dating. After that, years went by and we would stay in touch from time to time, but it was not until a cold November day in 2022 that I decided to ask her to come watch me play softball. That day we stayed and talked for hours in thirty-degree weather, and we decided to go on our first official date later that week to the Chinese Festival of Lights at the Nashville Zoo! This was the first time that I truly believed I had a chance because this was also during the week of her final exams for nursing school! I knew with how serious she took school, that if she was willing to go on a date with me during her final exams that I had a chance! Fast forward past many more dates, laughs, conversations, Shelby Park walks, and almost two years later, I was down on one knee at Cheekwood asking Erika if she would like to spend the rest of her life with me. She obviously said yes!!! On February 5th, 2025, we decided to make it official, and we were married at our church. Now On October 10th we are excited to celebrate our marriage with all of the special people in each of our lives!
