Do I need a COVID test to leave Mexico and travel back home?

Answer

At the moment, there are no testing requirements for a negative Covid test to travel back to the US. However, policies can change at any time so please ensure you stay up to date on the latest. If the policy does change, the resorts are offering on-site antigen testing for no additional cost to guests staying at least 3 nights or more. What is the cost of the travel insurance?

Answer

Price is based on per person and can range anywhere between $79.99 per person to $169.99 per person. It depends on the package you have chosen.

Does the insurance also cover flights if booked through Modern Travel?

Answer

If you book your flights with us (through Modern Travel), then yes, the insurance will also cover your flights. If you book your flights on your own, then NO, the insurance does NOT cover the flights, only the hotel.

Should I purchase travel insurance?

Answer

The best thing for your guests to do would be to purchase travel insurance with their reservation. This insurance will allow them to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund minus the cost of insurance. You never know what can happen between now and then.

Is there a shuttle to and from the airport?

Yes, when you book your room at Dreams Resort, a shuttle (airport transfers) is included in your rate. If this is not communicated during your booking process, please get in touch with the Modern Travel representative that completed your booking for more information.

Absolutely! Kids are more than welcome. When booking your room, please ensure you include them in your headcount.

Where will the ceremony & reception take place?

Answer

We will start the evening with a happy hour at the Jacuzzi Deck. The ceremony will be at the Gazebo (concrete floors). The reception will be at the beach. Since the reception will be at the beach, you may want to consider your footwear. You will have the opportunity between the ceremony and the reception to return to your rooms to change footwear if needed.

What should I wear? What is the appropriate wedding attire?

If you are part of the wedding party (groomsmen/bridesmaids), you will be contacted directly by Erika & Geraldo with more information. Overall Wedding Attire: Dressy Casual For Wedding Guests: Please stay within the earthy tones / nude color palette. We recommend the following options for women: Maxi dresses, sundresses, cocktail dresses, or jumpsuits. We recommend the following options for men: Linen or casual dress pants, linen, or another type of button-down shirt. Please, no jeans or shorts.
