Valkyries Games
One of our all-time favorite ways to spend time together is at a Golden State Valkyries game! The vibes are immaculate, and you'll leave saying "Go Valks!" by the end of the night. Games during our wedding week: Wednesday 6/24 (vs Atl Dream), Friday 6/26 (vs Dream) // ¡Una de nuestras formas favoritas de pasar tiempo juntos es en un partido de las Golden State Valkyries! Main Street Alameda Ferry Terminal
Take a ferry ride to San Francisco from Oakland/Alameda. The views are incredible, and you can grab a bite at the Ferry Building or explore downtown SF. // Toma un ferry de Oakland o Alameda a San Francisco. Las vistas son increíbles, y puedes disfrutar de algo de comida en el Ferry Building o explorar el centro de San Francisco.
Oracle Park
Check out a game at Oracle Park. Grab some garlic fries, a cold beer, and enjoy beautiful views of The Bay! Oh yeah, I guess there's a baseball game you can also watch. Games the week of our reception include: Wednesday, June 24th (A's), Thursday, June 25th (A's), Friday, June 26 (Braves). // Ve a un partido en Oracle Park. Yogurt Park
Want a sweet treat? The drive out to Berkeley is well worth it. You can have some delicious frozen yogurt and walk around the historic UC Berkeley (it's still "Go Ags!" all day, though). // ¿Antojo de un postre? Vale la pena manejar hasta Berkeley. Puedes disfrutar de un delicioso yogur congelado y pasear por la histórica universidad de Berkeley (aunque todo el día siga siendo “¡Vamos Ags!”).
Lake Merritt
Nothing beats people watching at Lake Merritt. Grab a blanket for the grass, a good book, and enjoy the vibes. // No hay nada mejor que observar a la gente en Lake Merritt. Lleva una manta para sentarte en el césped, un buen libro y disfruta del ambiente.
Oakland Zoo
We always have a blast at the Oakland Zoo! We highly recommend the gondola ride to overcome your fear of heights while you enjoy the Bay views. // ¡Siempre nos divertimos mucho en el zoológico de Oakland!
