SNUGGLE BUDDIES
While Riley and Cricket will be staying at home for the festivities, they are very excited about the marriage and hope it results in lots of treats and belly rubs! They invite you all to San Mateo for walks and scratchies at any time.
Mother of the Bride
Ann is Erika's mother and the reason she's not a lawyer (thanks for doing all that brutal looking homework in front of me!). Ann rides horses and makes a mean French 75, one of these Erika enjoys more than the other. A supporter of ~most~ of Erika's adventures, she's excited to have Dennis joining the family and is thrilled with one of Erika's better decisions.
Father of the Bride
Erika's favorite dad and career inspiration, Roger hails from Australia which can best be heard when we swears (which is rarely). If you ask him, he will kindly "give it the consideration it deserves" and divert your attention with a well-timed dad joke. Roger is an excellent baker, bringing treats for humans and dogs on his visits - an excellent friend to make! Ask him about his scooter & motorcycle collection, it's quite impressive.
Parents of the groom
Ava and Silas are Dennis' parents. They put up with Dennis' nonsense for a number of decades and are now glad Erika will do that full time now. Erika has not agreed to this.
Grandmother of the groom
Grandma Fay has been so proud of Dennis ever since he started breaking stuff in her house before he turned one. She has brought all of the grandkids to get ice cream and candy numerous times. Fay is the Kwok with the most DVD players.
Brother of the groom & honor attendant
Andrew has been Dennis' brother for a really long time. The two have been annoying each other in a way only siblings can ever since they could both walk. Just about every two player game that can be played has been defeated by them. Andrew once destroyed a train set. Andrew's girlfriend Kris is the better baker of the two. #FightingWords
Honor Attendants
Christine is Erika's best friend from college (and beyond). They met through a mutual friend and spent their first bit of "alone time" at a San Jose State Quidditch match which pretty much bonds you for life. They've enjoyed several vacations together and Erika considers herself an honorary Angerman. Marshall and Erika have their own special bond over Sharks hockey and delicious wines and have saved Hogwarts from numerous death eaters.
Honor Attendants
Jenna is Erika's one true wife and was the first person to be friendly at Second Spectrum, where they both worked for far too long. Jenna introduced Erika & Dennis, facilitating the greatest love story of this wedding. Jenna and Erika can frequently be found at a nail salon, or mopping wine up after Erika has thrown it across a room. Jenna's husband Dave is known for soaking up the day orb on their (not frequent enough) visits to California and patiently not rolling his eyes too hard at Erika's jokes.
Honor Attendants
Adria is Erika's friend, former co-worker, and fairy-dog-mom to the furriest of the Kwovanaghs. Adria introduced Erika to the world of dog rescue and was Cricket's foster mom (still TBD on if we thank her for that or not). She also introduced spicy margaritas into the home! Adria's husband Ryan is Cricket's first love and her "one that got away"
Honor Attendants
Emma is Erika, but better. Frequently the only person at Second Spectrum who could see/hear their only HR person, Emma commiserated with Erika's life as a ghost and introduced her to the joy of icing friends & co-workers. Emma is joined by their recreational activity partner, Neil.
Honor Attendants
Lauren is Erika's Big Sis from that one time she was in a sorority. They both enjoy sarcasm, the literary stylings of Paris Hilton, wearing tights all year long, and petting your dog. Erika drove Lauren to Texas one summer and Lauren may have been the first person to get Erika to eat In-N-Out. They've had many adventures together including George Michael concerts, the Backstreet Boys residency, and a visit to Thunder from Down Under that Erika would rather not get into. Lauren's husband Aaron once promised to take Erika up in a plane. She is still waiting.
Honor Attendants
George and Natalie have been good friends with Dennis for a really really long time. They once visited one of his band's shows in California by surprise. As a team, they went to Canada with Dennis and Erika and survived the nosiest AirBnB host. We could not find a picture of them, so please enjoy this picture of their dog and Dennis' (super cute) butt. Oslo will unfortunately not be joining the festivities.
Honor Attendants
Lauren and Scott were blessed to have Dennis be the best man at their wedding. They once attempted to troll him by printing out his high school pictures, but he just autographed them instead. In honor, they decided to name all of their kids after ladies who have worked for Dennis. Because of Dennis' greatness, Lauren knows what football is, and Scott had sushi for the first time. Dennis definitely did not write this.
Honor Attendants
Patrick and Dennis grew up two blocks away and did pretty much everything together once they met in the second grade until they both went to diffferent colleges after both not making it into UCSB. They played music together, beat ToeJam and Earl, Gunstar Heroes, and Molten Core at least 4 dozen times as a duo. Elyse and Dennis once hung out at one of Patrick's band's shows where they both put one hand over one eye.
Honor Attendant
Tracie is Dennis' teammate in the battle against alien mind control. As a team, the two have made sure all of the bars in Pasadena have been liberated and stayed in business during many a day drinking session. Tracie "isn't a gamer", but enjoys her cats and knitting stuff for everyone. We think she is secretly a dog person, but won't admit it.
