Erika and Bill both joined the Greens Country Club in May of 2020, but their paths did not cross until 2023. Erika enjoyed her time at the club having brunch, playing tennis, and hanging out with her girlfriends at the pool, while Bill spent the majority of his time playing golf. However, after a round on the course, he would usually just say his 'goodbyes' and head home. Finally, on a cold, rainy, Sunday (January 15th, 2023 to be exact), Bill’s golf game was delayed (then cancelled), causing most of his group to hangout inside of The Green Room. As this was a rare occurrence, the group of people at the table began to grow and, soon after, Erika received a call from a friend asking what she was doing. Her friend made mention that there were some 'single guys' at the table he was at, and that she needed to come up. Erika (having just had her hair done) decided 'why not?' And made the trek to The Greens. Luckily, that day, Erika sat down at the same table as Bill. She heard him talking, laughing, and knew immediately that she had to meet him. They then spent the rest of the afternoon conversing, exchanging numbers, and making plans to have dinner together the following day. That one dinner led to two, and after some months, they decided to make dating official. Two years (and six months, but who's counting?) later, on July 4, 2025, Bill popped the question- on a boat, with the most beautiful sunset Erika had ever seen (maybe a little biased) in the background, just before the fireworks.
