We're Getting Married!

We met on Aaron's birthday when he went to the Corvette Grille with his brother, his mom, and a friend for dinner. Erika was working that evening and she remembers how quiet Aaron was and how nice he and his group were. Aaron was nervous and quiet because he thought that Erika was "really cute". Aaron worked a few blocks away and would stop in every Wednesday after work to see her. A couple of months and many talks later Aaron and Erika sat together during karaoke night. They walked outside - Erika leaned against the building and Aaron stood on the sidewalk, fidgeting with his hands. Erika said to him, "So, are you gonna kiss me or not"? He smiled, walked up to her and kissed her.

On a beautiful Sunday morning, Pinnacle Trail Head set the scene for the next milestone for the couple. Aaron chose the mountains of Hamburg, PA because he wanted it to symbolize their future as the hike was a challenge but a view that would be worth every step of the way. There were a lot of people when they reached the top. He knew Erika would have liked it to be intimate. They sat on a rock to eat their packed lunch and looked at the beautiful view. Erika thought Aaron was being unusually quiet. He suggested they move to the other side. While Erika was taking in the view, Aaron was behind her looking around to make sure there were no snakes in between the rocks. That would be a bad time to get a snake bite! He knelt down and called her name. She turned around and saw him before her, with the most gorgeous ring, asking her to be his wife. The rest of the day was full of smiles and a blur of emotions.
