Why did I get a Save The Date if I wasn't invited?

Answer

In September 2020, Save The Dates were sent out electronically. We hoped for all 130 of our friends and family could come. However by May 15th 2021, the state of Virginia will only allow up to 100 people in a social gathering. Unless the numbers change allowing more guests by June 1st, unfortunately we will have to cut back on the wedding list.

What are the Pandemic Safety Procedures during the Wedding?

Answer

We will be implementing safe social distancing, and the usage of face masks to be worn throughout the day, unless you're eating or drinking. If you're not vaccinated, we still want you to attend. We strongly recommend that you get a covid test done, and the results are negative before attending the wedding.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I RSVP by mail or online?

Answer

Please kindly reply by May 10th, so we can have an exact head count. You can RSVP either online (no payment of postage) OR by mail. If replying online please check off all events you are attending throughout the day.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes kids are welcome to come. We would love to know if there will be any children coming to our wedding, if they are not mentioned on the invitation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless mentioned on the invite, we have a strict guest count to stay on budget, and to accommodate everyone.

Is there transportation to and from the Hotel to the Venue?

Answer

Unfortunately there is not, you must provide you own form of transportation. Unless you use the ride app services, like Uber or Lift . There is also a taxi service in the area, please check the Accommodations page. Don't forget, some folks can carpool together.

Is there Free Parking?

Answer

Yes there is free parking! There is also a designated parking area and handicapped spots as well.

Can wedding gifts be bought to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There will be a gift table, and card box, if your gift is in card form.

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

Its mid June in the high point of the Summer. We're hoping for a beautiful sunny day and evening. There will be cold drinks offered throughout the event, stay hydrated.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

No strict dress code, mostly business casual. Just remember it will be hot, and we want everyone comfortable but looking their best.

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Burgundy, Light Grey, Blush, and Champagne Gold

Will there be any food and beverages?

Answer

Yes, there will be cold drinks during the welcome event before the ceremony, small finger foods during the cocktail hour and drinks, and there will be a buffet meal during the reception.

Will there be any Vegetarian or Vegan options to eat?

Answer

We do have a Vegan entree available. Please mark that on your RSVP, either online or by mail. The entree is a quinoa stuffed bell peppers cooked with vegetable broth.

Will there be any alcoholic beverages?

Answer

Yes, but only wine and beer. No hard liquor, lets all have a nice time and keep our heads in a light buzz.
