Welcome to the Kitsap Peninsula!  If you plan to arrive early, there are lots of fun things to do in the area.

Go for a hike in a temperate rain forest!

Olympic National Park

About 10 minute drive from the wedding site.  This is a fun little town that you could wander around in an hour or two, or a whole day.

Poulsbo

Maritime Museum

SEA Discovery Center Aquarium

Small and cute, like all the towns around here. Get some coffee, wander into some fun shops, or watch the ferries come in and out.  There is a golf course nearby, and beaches and parks to explore.

Kingston

A small museum here has a somber focus on the history of the Japanese internment during WWII, and is worth a visit.

Japanese American Exclusion Memorial

There is a fine arts museum (free) right off the ferry.

Bike Barn Rentals

This 7 mile trail is close to town and goes through a lovely wetlands and is an Audubon site for bird lovers.
