If beer is your fancy 'hop' on over to Long Trail Brewing Co. It's one of Vermont's best breweries and is a quick 35 minute ride form Mountain Top through scenic Vermont. David recommends the Blackbeary Wheat.
Woodstock, Vermont
45 minutes from the Mountain Top Inn, Woodstock is an utterly charming, quintessential New England town and also where we spent the weekend of our engagement. Stroll through the cute stores, sit in the town green or grab a drink at the Woodstock Inn and enjoy the slow pace.
Burlington, Vermont
About 1.5 hours away from the Mountain Top Inn, Burlington is one of our FAVORITE places. From the Church Street Marketplace, to the Waterfront Park, to the many breweries, there is something for everyone. Erika's recommendation: get a maple "creemee" (what Vermonters call soft serve ice cream) at Burlington Bay. David's recommendation: Citizen Cider brewery.
