Flight

Leonardo da Vinci–Rome Fiumicino Airport

The best airport to fly into is FCO in Rome, there are direct flights from most major airports. The venue is located 2 hour north of FCO. Planning ahead is key to snagging the best deals on flights. Airfare prices tend to rise as the departure date approaches, so booking several months in advance can save you a significant amount. We recommend setting flight alerts early, and booking at least 5-6 months in advance!

Our favorite travel Hack!

We’re super excited about our wedding in Italy and want to help you get there without spending a whole lot of money. One travel hack we love is using travel credit cards to earn points and miles that can be applied to air travel and hotel stays. There are many travel cards out there, but two of our favorites are the Delta SkyMiles Credit Card and the Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card. These cards offer sign-up bonuses where you can get a big chunk of miles and points just for signing up and meeting the minimum spend, which can help lower your flight costs to Italy and cover your hotel stays before or after the wedding! Use the cards for your everyday purchases and watch the miles and points add up! If you decide to get the Delta SkyMiles Credit Card or the Marriott Bonvoy Card, use our referral link to get some extra bonus miles and points (linked below under "view"). Also, make sure to sign up for the loyalty programs of the airline and hotel you are using—every trip and every stay will help you earn status and extra perks! We hope these tips help make your travel planning a bit easier. Can’t wait to see you in Italy!
