We first met around 2009 through mutual friends on an app you might remember—AIM. What started as casual chats in group messages slowly turned into one-on-one conversations that built a connection neither of us expected. After a short-lived attempt at Eric trying to ask Sabrina out on a date, he lovingly stayed in the friend zone….for the next seven years. By chance, we crossed paths again in summer of 2014 during college. We reconnected, picked up right where we left off, and this time, something felt different. A friendship blossomed into something more, and before long, Eric asked Sabrina to be his girlfriend that Fall. Fast forward nine years (and a lot of shared adventures), Eric proposed during Sabrina’s 30th birthday trip to Mexico surrounded by some of her closest friends. And that is why you’re here now! :) We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
