A meeting... A presentation… Denial. The story began June 6th, 2016, when Gricelda was invited to a presentation by a friend and at this gathering, Eric was also present. Eric and Gricelda briefly exchanged pleasantries, before Eric was pulled away. Why, you ask? Unfortunately, it turned out that Eric was presenting and it was quite obvious he had never seen this presentation before. Gricelda judged Eric. Hard. “What a kakapo bird”, she thought. *Side note, the kakapo bird is considered the dumbest bird in the world.* She left that night thinking she’ll never see this, Eric, again… Well, I think we all know how that went but let us continue this story. Fast forward two months; Gricelda went to a birthday dinner at PF Chang’s and wouldn’t you know it, Eric showed up! Eric began to greet everyone at the table and when he landed on Gricelda he stopped and exclaimed, “Hey, I know you!” Gricelda responds, “No” with a confused, cold, and stern demeanor knowing full well that this is the same dumb bird from that presentation. Eric then asked for Gricelda’s name and again proclaimed “Yeah! we’ve met before!” Gricelda again told Eric, in front of everyone mind you, “No.” Needless to say, Eric dropped it and never saw Gricelda ever again. Wait, that’s not how the story goes! Skipping forward again, this time into 2017, Eric and Gricelda found themselves at the same gathering and Gricelda could no longer deny having met him. She accepted her fate and as of April 16th of that year, Eric and Gricelda became an official couple. Now it’s time for them to become husband and wife 5 years later on the same date.
