We Met the "Old Fashion" Way

We're O.H.S.O. thankful for Facebook!

All of you know us, it shouldn't come as a surprise that we met using the technology of today and set up a date for some old soul drinks. Enjoy... - E.L. - ----- It starts with a Facebook post that Lisa had on her page and Eric sent her a message about. After looking at her profile he thought it would be cute to let her know he, "loved" her quote on her profile. With the initial shock that someone would actually read a profile still setting in, Lisa and Eric chatted for a month before he had the courage to ask her out. That's right... a month! They talked about everything under the sun and finally met at O.H.S.O. in Arizona. After a beer and Eric ordering steak fries (not knowing Lisa was trying to not eat meat), they shared a few laughs and then the two most important questions were asked. Lisa asked, "What's your favorite type of music?", without hesitation, Eric responded, "Sinatra, or anything from that era." With a steakless fry in her mouth, Lisa's jaw dropped and agreed it was the best music ever. Lisa told Eric it was his turn to ask something, so he began the date with, "What's your favorite drink?". "Old fashion's" Lisa stated emphatically. That was the moment they knew they had something special. After hanging around O.H.S.O. and running into some friends they each knew, Eric decided to take a leap and go for it, "Why don't we get out of here, so I can take you somewhere?" After dropping off a car Eric drove her to the one and only Gladly. He smirked as Lisa was awestruck with the Sphere of Ice and how delicious their Holy Water Old Fashions were... not to mention the three desserts Eric order for them to, "try." The beauty of this story is when Eric asked her to sit next to him to share the desserts. They both knew the moment they sat next to one another that they were meant for each other and never wanted to leave one another's side again. ----- To all of you who have read this, Thank you! Also, thank you to Facebook and Bullet Bourbon. - E.L. -
