Derek and Brittany met when a party bus Brittany was on was headed through his hometown of White, SD. A friend of Brittany’s messaged him to go to the bar and he decided to go back to the bar to hang out for a while. The bus showed up, Derek and Brittany met, and they continued talking from there on out and the rest is history. 💍😊

Derek called Brittany right after work and said he was already at her apartment. She ran to the lumberyard quick to pick out their bathroom countertops for their house. She called him on the way home and had a normal conversation with him on her drive. When she got home, she went to open the door and the door was locked. (This was weird cause she knew Derek was inside and he never locks the door) she opened the door and there was a candle and note that said “Brittany, go to your room and follow the directions” She followed the rose petals to her bedroom. There was a note on the bedroom door that said “go in the room and close the door behind you. Press play on my phone connected to the tv.” She opened the door and there were candles lit, and 3,000 rose petals spread out around her room. She pressed play and watched the video. After the video was done, she opened her door and he met her in the hallway and got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. She of course said YES! 💍
