GARDEN PARTY: Think fun colors, prints, or florals. San Diego has lovely weather in June - it is warm during the day and cool at night. Items that are light and easy to layer will be comfortable into the evening (no need for full-length gowns or full suits/black-tie). Comfortable footwear like flats, wedges, or sandals will make walking and dancing more enjoyable. Most of the garden trails are paved, but there are some areas with hills and gravel. The area for the ceremony and reception will be flat and paved.
Please arrive between 4:30-4:45PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00PM. Traffic in San Diego can be busy, so please plan accordingly so that you aren't delayed
Yes! Guests will have free parking at the venue, and free admittance into the San Diego Botanical Garden.
See our Travel page above for some recommended hotels. No room blocks have been reserved.
The ceremony will be held at the San Diego Botanical Garden, located at 398 Quail Gardens Drive in Encinitas, CA 92024. Parking at the Botanical Garden is free for wedding guests, so driving, ride shares (Uber/Lyft), and public transit are all great options! If you wish to take public transit during your stay, download the Pronto app.
All wedding guests (and kids) are included on the wedding invitations. If your date is not named on the wedding invite or in your group when you go to RSVP, then unfortunately we cannot accommodate them. Thank you for understanding!
