Flight
Raleigh is served by Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), which offers a range of domestic flights and select international routes, including direct service to London. RDU is a relatively small and easy-to-navigate airport. For guests traveling from Australia, the most convenient routes typically connect through Dallas (recommended) or Los Angeles. RDU is approximately a 20-minute drive to downtown Raleigh and about 20–25 minutes from our wedding venue. Raleigh is a car-friendly city, so we recommend renting a car or using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, as public transportation options are limited. Uber/Lyft are readily available, though wait times may be slightly longer late at night. On the wedding day, we’ll provide shuttle transportation to and from the venue for guests staying in downtown Raleigh. Please allow extra time for traffic on the wedding day, especially during peak hours. We recommend staying in downtown Raleigh for convenience and walkability.
Shuttle

A shuttle will be provided from downtown Raleigh to transport guests to the venue. Exact departure times will be shared closer to the wedding date. If you happen to miss the shuttle, we recommend using Uber or Lyft to ensure you arrive on time for the ceremony. At the end of the evening, return shuttles will be available to bring guests back to downtown Raleigh. We’ll ask guests to indicate whether they plan to use the shuttle or arrange their own transportation.

If a hotel isn’t quite your style, there are plenty of great alternative accommodation options. We recommend checking Airbnb or VRBO for a wide range of homes and apartments, or browsing Booking.com for additional hotel and short-term rental options.
