Our story began during the apocalyptic year of 2020, when the world was seemingly up in flames and shutting down world-wide. When love and basic human interaction was prohibited and resorted to facetime videos, annoying zoom calls and the dreaded social distancing. With all that chaos and government regulation, we were determined to find love online. Erick slid into Daisy’s messages with a clever pick-up line that would go down in history: "Dang girl, are you my appendix? I don’t understand how you work, but this feeling in my stomach makes me wanna take you out." Daisy of course couldn’t resist the charm and wittiness that radiated through her phone screen and just like that, the conversation began. Our first date was an instant connection, dressed identically from head to toe. We both showed up dressed in black outfits, each with our own jean jacket and even more striking, the same checkered Vans. At that moment, we both knew the universe had sent us this sign that we were meant to be. Though we met online, the more we got to know each other, the more we realized how many times our paths had crossed. We’d been in the same places, at the same time, with the same people, and it felt like destiny was always quietly weaving us closer together. What some would call the invisible string theory! On October 18, 2020, Erick put together the most wonderful spooky basket and worked up the courage to ask Daisy to be his girlfriend. This was just the beginning of their beautiful adventure. In the years since, our love has blossomed in the most wonderful ways. We’ve found friendship, partnership, and a deep love for one another. We’ve traveled, laughed, and even raised two beautiful dogs, Kodak and Kinto, who have become a big part of our family. Now as we take the next step in our journey, we’re thrilled to be joining our lives in marriage, knowing that the best thing we both found on the internet was each other.

Nos conocimos durante la locura del 2020, cuando parecia que el mundo estaba en llamas y el amor parecía algo que solo se podía encontrar en línea. Con los años, nuestro amor ha florecido de las maneras más maravillosas. Hemos encontrado amistad, compañerismo y un amor profundo el uno por el otro. Hemos viajado, reído y hasta criado a dos hermosos perros, Kodak y Kinto, que se han convertido en una parte muy importante de nuestra familia.
