Lehengas and Shararas
For women, we recommend either Lehengas or Shararas. Lehengas are usually the most common and widely available. They consist of a long embroidered skirt, a blouse, and a scarf, also known as a dupatta. Shararas consist of wide flared pants, a long tunic, and a dupatta. Both are great options! These outfits can be accessorized with any shoe/heel of your choice and some fun jewelry such as bangles and statement earrings.
Men
Kurta Pajamas and Sherwanis
For men, we recommend either Kurta Pajamas or Sherwanis. While similar, Kurta Pajamas consist of a long, loose-fitting tunic with comfortable trousers. Often times, Kurta Pajamas are dressed up by adding a vest. Sherwanis consist of a long coat like garment typically paired with more fitted trousers. Men’s outfits are usually worn with a loafer.
