We met during the pandemic on the Facebook Dating app. We chatted on the phone for hours every day with the conversation never running dry. Within weeks, it felt as though we knew each other all our lives, but it was almost another 2 months before we met in person. For our first date, we went to lunch in New Brunswick, to a nearby park then flower/plant shopping and we both knew immediately that we found our "person". We've been inseparable ever since.
We went to dinner after work at one of our favorite restaurants, Thavma Mediterranean Grill, on the Friday of Mothers Day weekend. We were having a great dinner and just chatting when we somehow got on the conversation of an acquaintance’s terrible proposal. We briefly talked about our own proposal ideas and ended dinner. We then decided to go to our favorite scenic overlook, Eagle Rock Reservation, before heading home. We spent time chatting and looking at the moon and stars and overlooking the lights of New York City. As we were standing to leave, Chris asked me to turn around and he was sitting with the ring in his hand and he asked me to be his forever 💕💕💕💕 I cried as he slipped the beautiful ring on my finger and I melted into his chest. Of course I will marry you and I will say “yes” for all of eternity.
