Yes, Formal
Your invitation will arrive before the beginning of December. We are releasing the website early for the purpose of raising money for the special day.
November 21st, 2019. Please do your best to send the RSVP before the last date should any mail issues occur.
Not unless specified in you invitation. If you wish to bring a date or friend contact the bride or groom for further details.
Not unless specified in the invitation. Please refrain from bringing children that were not included in the invitation so we can maintain the number of plates, food being served, and seating arrangements. If possible please leave any young children with a trusted caretaker so that the bride and groom are not distracted during the ceremony. Please contact the bride and groom if you do not have a caretaker for your small children and would like to request bringing them to the wedding.
Yes, please see the Wedding Page "Hotels to stay..."
All of our guests are being served the same food options, but should you have an allergy our Chef whom will be serving could leave off certain things depending on what it is. Please contact the bride or groom with your allergy (Peanuts, Chicken, etc.) so we can do our best to create a solution and accommodate.
There is parking at the Reception and Ceremony, but to do our best to start on time, make sure everyone gets at the correct location, and also conserve as much parking as possible there will be carpooling parties.
Transportation, either personal or carpool, will be arranged before the day of the wedding. Whichever method you arrive in will be the same method you return in.
For people listed in the wedding party or that have a specific role will be invited to a wedding rehearsal. All other guests should mainly focus on the day of the wedding.
The Wedding location is listed on the invitations, but the hotels and other accommodations will be in Decatur, TX. Even though the wedding is in Azle, TX we ask that our guests book hotels and rooms in Decatur, TX should anything occur and also to be closer to the bride and groom. Please help make this special day go as smooth as possible.
While gifts are nice we are stocked on materials that we need. On our registry we are only ackimg for cash funds so as to help pay for the wedding. Nothing is cheap anymore so any and all contributions are very much appreciated.
There is no alchohol being served and there will be no exception for bringing your own. It is an alcohol free wedding and we ask that you respect us and our other guests. If any guests are discovered with alchohol or under the influence will be escorted out.
No. This includes outdoor and indoor circumstances. There are guests that are older as well as young so please refrain from lighting up on the wedding date as it is unwelcomed and foul smelling.
Airlines are personal choice, but I would recommend LAX to DFW airport for all of my guests that are coming in from LA, California. DFW has it's own website that can help for those who would like their own rental car. Other options for people traveling alone or in a small party should consider Taxi's, Lyft, or Uber.
Feburary is still winter, but in Texas it's very hard to predict the weather outcomes. I would recommend preparing for both hot and cold weather apart from the wedding attire.
No, fortunately we found a venue for both the Ceremony and Reception.
Please mail it to: 950 W Thompson St. Decatur, TX 76234 Apartment 260 (A text to the bride or groom that you've sent it is also appreciated)
Although our wedding color scheme with red, white, and gold there is no specific color that is not allowed. It's still formal dress so please don't wear anything inappropriate, revealing, or offensive.
There is a complete schedual on a different page of the website, please feel free to have a look.
All guests are responsible for making their own reservations at their preferred hotel. By making your own reservations you will not run the risk of paying for more or less days depending on personal arrival and departure.
Unfortunately the small town we live in is not home to a lot of fun or entertaining locations. However I would look into the nearby towns like Denton, Fort Worth, and if you're feeling adventurous, I'd look at Dallas too.
The venue location has an area for both outdoor and indoor ceremonies. I would recommend bringing something that is appropriate for either one. Since Texas weather is hard to predict we will not know that specific detail until the week of. However it is guaranteed that the Reception will be indoors.
Guests are allowed to take their own photos of the wedding, but no flashes will be allowed. No photos are allowed to be posted without consent of the bride and groom.
Please contact the bride or groom for any additional questions.
