Our go-to breakfast spot in our neighborhood, Inman Park. A table pancake is strongly recommended.
Atlanta staple, walking distance from Midtown hotel and Piedmont Park!
Classic breakfast spot right near Inman Park!
Popular breakfast spot, known for their large biscuit sandwiches (really good after a long night out)
Our hyperlocal and favorite coffee shop. Great lattes and pastries accessible from the Beltline. We often work or read here on Fridays and Saturdays, and several ideas in Erich's "Future Coffee Shop" list has been inspired by this place.
Coffee stand with outdoor patio right by Piedmont Park
Really great museum for anyone interested in learning more about the history of Atlanta, from the Civil War to the 1996 Olympics! It also has beautiful grounds and gardens, including the fully preserved Swan House (which you might recognize from The Hunger Games)! We recommend spending at least 2 hours there.
Enjoy a nice stroll with city views by the Active Oval or take a picture at the "Midtown Reflection." There is also a farmer's market Saturday mornings called the Green Market. We recommend getting a coffee and some breakfast there. The crepes are great!
The Beltline is a walk, run and bike path that used to be a railroad line. We recommend getting onto it at Ponce City Market, Piedmont Park, Inman Park or Krog Street Market. There are ample restaurants, bars and shops to visit
Converted old Sears building along the Beltline with lots of shopping, food and drink stalls.
Located in Downtown Atlanta near Centennial Park, the Georgia Aquarium is one of the biggest in the world! Most known for its Whale Sharks, we recommend all visitors to Atlanta to visit at least once. Probably easiest to Uber/Lyft from Midtown.
Right next to Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to wander on a nice fall day. Think lush gardens, tropical greenhouses, and seasonal exhibits (like giant plant sculptures!). It's perfect for a peaceful stroll or snapping some great photos in nature.
Upscale food hall in the heart of Midtown. Walkable from the hotels.
Upscale American / Italian restaurant close to the venue and Renaissance hotel.
Upscale restaurant specializing in Persian food. Very good!
Great place to grab a few drinks and watch your favorite sports teams. Located next door to the Biltmore Ballrooms, so it's a great place to go between the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour.
Super popular bar that is one huge screened in patio with views of Piedmont Park. Great for college football watching
Located right next to Sweetwater Brewery, it's a fun place to play ping pong, cornhole, and pickleball. They have good food and drinks too!
If you're looking to put your dancing shoes on Thursday or Friday night, this is our favorite place to go out and dance. Expect 70's and 80's music, people of all ages and strong pours.
Brewery along the Beltline! Rooftop for good view of the city.
