It all started in March 2016. Eric and Tiffany met their senior year at UNH while out with mutual friends. Following a night of dancing at Libby’s, Tiffany was waiting in line at Kurt’s for her late night cheese fries when she heard Eric order mozzarella sticks. On hearing of Eric’s mistake, she turned around to inform him that he was in fact ordering incorrectly from the food truck, and that the only correct order was cheese fries. While waiting and debating the merit of cheese fries versus mozzarella sticks as a late night snack, Eric offered Tiffany a mozzarella stick to put the debate to rest. Following graduation, Tiffany moved back to Durham, NH for work and Eric was working on campus to finish out the summer. They spent most of the summer together eating ice cream until Eric moved to New York City for work. Throughout this time, they remained close and visited eachother whenever possible. While in NYC, Eric had asked Tiffany to date a couple of times, but Tiffany was nervous about the long distance. Flash forward to Eric moving back to NH, our story as a couple officially began in January 2018. We never would have thought a debate over cheese fries would have sparked our love story!

Growing up, Tiffany loved walking around La Salette or riding in a car to look at Christmas lights! Since moving in together, Tiffany would always say “I wish there was a place up in New Hampshire where we could walk around and look at the Christmas lights.” After some research, Eric discovered La Belle Lights at a local vineyard and suggested we go to the outdoor light display to take a picture for our Christmas card. As we approached the end of the Christmas wonderland, Eric said he found the perfect spot for our Christmas photo. Under hundreds of twinkling lights, Eric got down on one knee and asked the question Tiffany had been waiting for (and this time she said yes on the very first ask)!
