Question

What is the wedding reply by date?

Answer

June 22nd

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is "Cocktail Attire". For August in Joliet, Illinois we suggest: suit and tie, dressy slacks, formal jumpsuits, cocktail dresses (knee length or longer), and formal separates. Please bring a extra pair of comfortable shoes as there will be a lot of dancing! Pinterest link (outfit ideas) - https://pin.it/56nyWjRYo

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

While we adore your children, our venue does not have the room for your little ones. Please make it a date night!

Question

When does the hotel block discount/booking expire?

Answer

July 8th

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please note that due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate additional guest - unless a guest is stated on your invitation.

Question

Where is the ceremony & reception located?

Answer

Both the ceremony & reception are located at The Haley Mansion in Joliet Illinois.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Haley Mansion provides handicap accessible and generous parking options with two large lots: one adjacent to the venue and another directly across the street. These ample parking facilities ensure easy access for all our guests.

Question

Can I take pictures during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We respectfully request that guests do not take photographs during the wedding ceremony as professional pictures will be taken throughout the day. We invite you to enjoy the moment and we'll gladly share these images with you after the celebration.

Question

Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at Harrah's Joliet, 3 minutes from the venue. Reference the Cross/Bomba Wedding & be sure to book by July 8th, 2025 to receive the discounted rate.

Question

Should I book a room at Harrah's Joliet?

Answer

If you are questioning booking, please consider: 1. The venue's five-hour beverage service will not close during the duration of the event, so if you plan to indulge - please book! 2. If your travel is more than 40 minutes - why drive late at night? 3. The bride and groom may continue the party at the hotel's restaurant - join the fun. 4. Treat yourself and/or make it a date night.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

TBD! Stay tuned - pending

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will begin outside at 5:30 p.m. sharp. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. and guest are welcome to walk around, tour the venue, socialize and take photos. The reception will take place indoors.

Question

What should I expect during cocktail hour?

Answer

During cocktail hour, the bride, groom and wedding party will step away to take additional photos. Uniformed staff will circulate hors d’oeuvres and take drink orders, you may also order at the bar. Please feel free to socialize, tour the mansion, and visit the photo booth!

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will be served at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner. The dinner will begin with a salad, followed by the entrée you picked on the reply (chicken, fish or vegan dish) accompanied with sides. A delicious dessert table will present as well.

Question

Where can I drop off an envelope and/or gift?

Answer

A card/gift box (locked) will be available at the venue. We would be so grateful for a contribution to our fence fund. However, for those who prefer traditional gifts, we’ve also put together a small registry located on this wedding website.
