It's "REALLY" Happening

It all began when a mutual friend knew that we would make a good match. For weeks, months she tried to set us up and it finally happen on August 14, 2016. It was Eric's birthday and we were going out to celebrate at Odis 12 here in Erie. I was very nervous when I found out that his parents were going to be there that night (talk about pressure) but much to my happy surprise, found out that Eric's mom and I are basically twins! Through all the giggling and gabbing with my new found twin and I, poor Eric would attempt to speak to me (and trying to break into a full conversation between two Italian women is no easy feet!) After awhile, he gave up but was just as happy to just stand there by my side, listening two us crazy ladies go on and on. When his parents left for the night, it was our time to get to know each other more. I had already fallen in love with his family... but what about him? I'm not sure when it happened, but through the night we went from shy, sporadic conversation to being completely comfortable around each other. I knew something was happening when Eric was standing behind me and I leaned back against him, as if it was something I had done for years. There wasn't a single thought to it at all. Even from that first night, he made me feel safe, comfortable, content... at home. Oh and that shy boy does surprise when he wants to! Eric kissed me that night in the hallway at Odis's. It was in that moment a spark ignited, caught and it was full on fire... and we've been inseparable ever sense. I was pretty much certain that I would never find the "one" but here he is! The one person I can be completely comfortable around and be 100% myself, craziness and all. We can tell each other anything and it's ok. We fit... We knew from day one that we were meant to be... forever best friends.
