Is there a dress code?

Formal Attire (Black tie optional) - We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to get all dressed up and throw on that tux if you have one :)

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love ALL of your children, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration with the exception of our nieces and nephews. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off! For babysitting services, our hotel block recommended the Family Care Option - please email/call the Manager (Maria Land echo) at (212) 748-8377; info@familycareoption.com.

Can I bring a plus one?

Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to email us at s.e.wedding2019@gmail.com with any questions!

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The Chelsea Piers parking lot will be open for self-parking (~$60 for the evening) or you might get lucky and find street parking right out front. Due to the high volume of cars, businesses and events at the facility, available parking spots might be a short walk from the Lighthouse venue. We recommend that guests use their preferred ride-hailing app and have to the driver drop you off at the very end of the parking lot so you get out right in front :)

Will there be food and drinks? Do I pre-select an entree?

Answer

Oh yes there will be!! We will have passed appetizers, a full open bar, as well as a 4-course meal, and lots of dessert! Everyone will select their entree upon taking their seat so please advise of any food allergies/dietary restrictions then.

When are the RSVPs due?

Are there other wedding activities that I am invited to?

Answer

We are inviting folks to join us for pre-wedding drinks on Friday, February 15, 2019 around 8:30pm at The Wilson (in the private downstairs area). The restaurant is located at the INNSIDE Hotel (where we have a room block) so we hope you stop by! Then on Saturday February 16, 2019 after our wedding reception, we will walk next door to Bowlmor Lanes for our after-party where we have rented out the back room with 8 lanes!
