On December 8th, 2024, at Epcot, my dream proposal actually came true. For years, I had jokingly told him that I wanted to be proposed to on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Epcot. He always said that was a crazy idea… so I never thought he’d actually do it! He planned an amazing weekend at Universal Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot, and we went with two of my friends and my sister. When it was finally time to ride Guardians, he insisted on sitting behind me, which I thought was strange since it was his first time on the ride. Little did I know, he had secretly given my sister my ring to hide in her bag. As the ride launched backward and the camera snapped our picture, he held up a huge sign that said “Marry Me.” I had no idea! When we got off the ride, he hurried ahead to grab the ring from my sister. My friend showed me the ride photo, and there it was: him holding the sign! I turned around, completely shocked, and saw him down on one knee. It was the most perfect, fun, and unforgettable moment, a proposal straight out of a Disney dream. 💫
