Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation is for yourself only, unless the envelope your invitation came with includes another name, or “and guest”. If you were not permitted a plus one, explanations may include: we are already inviting the person whom it is assumed would be your plus one, you may be a more active part of our wedding day than most guests, etc. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your invitation or plus one, you may email us at: mrandmrchilcote@gmail.com

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time (3 pm)!

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately, our wedding is a 21+ event. Please leave your little ones at home!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that our guests dress in semi-formal attire; primarily or all black. Our wedding has a fantasy theme, so if you have anything whimsical (not costume-y) hanging out in the back of your closet, you are more than welcome to wear that, as well! You may accessorize however you’d like, with the exception of elaborate head pieces. Please refrain from wearing white!

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony? Do guests from out of town get hotel rooms for their stay?

Answer

Guests are to provide their own transportation. Since most of our guests are in town, we don’t have a hotel block booked for anyone. The event does have parking, though! (PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE WHILE INTOXICATED!!!)

While we will have alcohol, our bar will be a cash bar.
