What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Wedding guests have the option to tour the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery prior to the start of cocktail hour. Simply go to the front desk and inform them you are part of the Rottner, Walsh wedding for entrance. Alternatively, explore any of our favorite drink spots included in the things to explore section.

What is the deal with welcome drinks?

Answer

Welcome drinks start at 7PM at Rising Storm at the Mill, with a reserved area upstairs. Eric and Shannon plan to arrive as soon as they can after their rehearsal dinner. This will be a casual event, so feel free to come and go as you choose. It will be a cash bar. There is food available to order at the Mill as well, so there is an option to eat there or prior to drinks.

Is there parking available at the church and reception venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at the Church, and at the art gallery. The art gallery is also very close to all of the recommended hotels, so if you plan to get your party on it should be easily walkable. Alternatively there are plenty of Uber and Lyft options.

How much fun will this wedding be?
