We first met each other when we were working at Goodwill in 2014. I asked Eric if he would like to go to the Renaissance Festival with me and of course he said yes! As the years have gone by we continued to learn and grow together, honestly I have never met someone like Eric before. I have learned so much about myself and how to care for someone that means the world to you. Yes, we have our ups and downs, but we carry each other through it all. No matter the circumstances we always look out for each other. There is a lot more I could say, but all in all, he is my other half. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

Eric and I knew we wanted to move our relationship forward, however there were a few bumps we had to address first. Due to COVID-19 we had to spend a month and a half apart due to both sides of our families being at risk. After the quarantine restrictions were lifted, he asked my parents for the blessing to move forward in our relationship together, and they said yes! Eric proposed to me on the beach at Oak Island on June 17th, 2020. While Eric’s sister Lindsay was taking pictures of us on the beach, Eric got down on one knee and proposed to me!
